Enjoyed the tour with Jason. He was very friendly, informative, and gave a great tour.

Since I have done a lot of walking tours, I would make two small suggestions:

1. Start with some big picture Swiss history (assume that the tourists don'tknow any), and connect it down to Lucerne and its relevance. Definitely heard some of that, but could have been more.

2. Make it funnier. He had some good jokes and interactions, but could have done more.

An enjoyable whistlestop tour of Lucerne. Lots of detail about the town and sights and some good ideas for further exploration. Our guide was articulate and very patient with all my questions.

Charlotte did an incredible job, despite living there for not a super long time, well versed and knowledgable about Lucerne. It was quite an extensive tour, but we were able to see so many locations and learn a lot. Charlotte was super helpful and open to giving tips for places to eat or places to go. There was a great music festival going on at the time, so it was nice to hear a bit more about that event also. The tour was at least 2 hours starting at 11, so you should have an idea where you want lunch before or during the tour, or have had a large breakfast.

Dogs totally welcome on the tour, and during a hot day having the plethora of public fountains was so helpful to quench our thirst 🙂 The tour took some breaks, but we had to retrace our steps to take more photos, and there was a(n optional) climb through a clock tower (which was a bit awkward with our dog but we did it anyway!), which took a bit of time.

Took an excellent Free Walking tour around Luzern with Charlotte. She was very knowledgeable and answered any question I came up with. If you are looking to take a walking tour in Luzern, this is the one to take. While it was free we did happily tip Charlotte.

10 people waiting as instructed at 11:30 for the tour. No one showed up. No prior communication to say the tour was cancelled. Have done many of these around Europe and never had the same experience!
