This private tour with Chris was amazing. If I could give him more stars, I definitely would! From the initial moment he contacted me I knew this tour was going to be great. We got to see the best of Switzerland in a short amount of time. Chris is very friendly, fun, accommodating, and flexible. He provided great suggestions as well. This tour was the highlight of our trip in Switzerland. We were so grateful of a such a well planned itinerary. Chris, thank you for making this tour an enjoyable experience. Our first communication with Chris was about a contest in his TST newsletter. We actually won a Freddie tour and entry to Chillon Castle, both in Montreux. In the year before our trip, we had many emails, iMessages, and even video chats with Chris. He really wanted to get to know us in order to personalize our tour days for our greatest enjoyment. WOW! They were all fantastic!
He picked us up from the airport in Zurich and we toured all day, starting with Rheinfall, and then checked in at our home base hotel in Luzern. Jet lag? Not a problem!
We had a total of four days with Chris. He was careful not to include things we could easily do on our own (like Pilatus), and showed us more sights than we could have imagined! Awesome places of great natural beauty along with chocolate, cheese, cookies, and history were all part of our itinerary. And we even got to zip line for our first time ever!
Chris was also super helpful with the rest of our planning for our time in Switzerland. He helped us to understand the Swiss railroad system (buying tickets and actually getting from place to place) as well as helping us figure out how to organize our time there.
He is funny, personable, knowledgeable, trustworthy, a great driver, and filled with enthusiasm that we got totally swept up in!
If, someday, we get the chance to return to Switzerland, we will contact Chris immediately!

During this spring, I took another tour with Chris. The first time a few years ago was so great that we entrusted him to be our guide this second time around too. Chris is a fantastic guide. He is very knowledgeable, professional and fun to be around. He may just be the best tour guide in all of Switzerland. Book a tour with him and you will not be disappointed.

We had a wonderful tour to see Appenzell for cheese and bier sampling and a trip to Liechtenstein to see the Vanduz castle. We also got to do a chocolate tour of Läderach which is the best chocolate I have ever tasted. We could have not done this trip on our own. Chris was punctual, informative, and very witty. Prior to the tour his communication was excellent to ensure our tour would meet expectations. Additionally he accommodated an extra person on the tour with short notice. Julie H

If only we could give him 100 stars!!!! Our trip in late May was absolutely MADE by booking a day tour with Chris ! We kick ourselves that we did not book more days with him! It was by far the best day out of our 2 week Europe trip. He took us to a mix of popular spots and hidden gems! Chris is a great guide. He’s extremely personable, open to any changes in the itineraries… Which we had because of all the rain. Highly recommend him!!!

We had Chris for three days. Due to the great weather finally on day 3 ,the tour to Innsbruck and surrounding areas from Luzern stands out as the best tour…and was absolutely amazing!

Chris is a true gem!
He is an exceptional tour guide and truly went above and beyond for my husband and I. There are many things that set Chris apart when it comes to tour guides. First, he schedules a video chat with you beforehand to get to know you and personalize your time together based on your interests. He continues to check in up until your time together. He learned that my husband is a huge HR Giger fan. Chris called the HR Giger museum ahead of our visit and arranged for the museum director to give us a private tour!! The museum director knew Giger personally and showed us a different side of the prolific artist. This was extremely special for my husband. It was a dream. You could tell that Chris took time and consideration into making this the best possible experience for us. In addition, he’s fun, funny, and a great conversationalist. He took lovely pictures and showed us a wonderful time. Thank you Chris for a memory we can cherish for the rest of our lives.

We chose Chris and TST to take us on a day trip to the Jungfraujoch. All I can say is that Chris is the perfect host and guide. On our drive to the mountain from Luzern he stopped off on the way to show us local sites and viewpoints, and always shared his extensive local knowledge.

Chris joined us on the trip up the mountain and always went the extra mile to make sure we enjoyed every aspect, even buying us a Lindt chocolate. But best of all he didn’t grumble and happily joined us on a hike across the glacier to a mountain hut.

On the way home he showed us more amazing Swiss sites.

I can’t recommend Chris and TST highly enough.
